Daily Expectations:

Professional Analysis Inc. (PAI) is currently soliciting applications for the positions of Senior Integrated Logistics Support / Configuration Analysts, located in: Norfolk, VA, Houma, LA, and Pascagoula, MS.

The primary responsibility of these Senior Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) / Configuration Analysts are to provide a full range of logistics and configuration services for various new construction and fleet sustainment programs.

Duties Include:

New Construction -
• Accurately documenting installed system/equipment configuration baselines
• Identifying procuring, and outfitting the proper range/depth of material, equipage, and equipment to support customer maintenance philosophy, operational requirements, and endurance levels
• Gathering accurate and complete technical documents/references
• Document and implement customer mandated programs
• Assess logistics support risks and corresponding mitigation strategies
• Provide process improvement suggestions related to procedures, and/or ILS contractual requirements.

Fleet Sustainment -
• Provide a full range of support for developing, analyzing and managing system/equipment configuration baselines
• Identify, develop and analyze associated ILS documentation
• Identify, develop and analyze allowance documents and inventory levels / supply system posture in order to support both planned and unplanned maintenance
• Identify, analyze, and resolve equipment or part supportability issues
• Articulate contract logistics requirements, review and manage deliverables
• Assess logistics support risks and corresponding mitigation strategies
• Provide suggested improvements to processes, procedures, and/or ILS contract requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess and maintain a US Government Secret level clearance
• 12 years of demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and relevant experience providing ship acquisition and/or fleet sustainment logistics support services to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command, or maritime ship operating companies including:
• Equipment provisioning and allowance modeling to support preventative (planned), corrective (unplanned), and alterative (e.g. TRANSALTs, MACHALTs, etc.) maintenance
• Material sourcing from commercial and federal sectors
• Developing and maintaining ship configuration baselines and equipment/systems top-down breakdown/hierarchical relationships
• Familiarity with marine engineering system functionality, components, and associated ILS elements to support planned/unplanned maintenance
• Ship repair planning and specification development processes
• General marine engineering system preventative and corrective maintenance theory and methodologies

Professional Analysis Inc. (PAI) is currently soliciting applications for the position of Ammunition Accounting Logistician, located in the Norfolk, Virginia area. 

The main responsibility of the Ammunition Accounting Logistician will be to account for Class V ammunition inventory in accordance with US Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements.

Duties Include:
• Managing and documenting shipboard ammunition inventories using Navy inventory management procedures via official information technology systems.  Activities include:
• Material ordering, managing and updating orders using DoD and Navy MILSTRIP requisition transactions. Reviewing, utilizing, and interpreting DoD and Navy MILSTRIP business rules, data elements, technical exception codes, and systems,
• Procuring and preparing reports
• Coordinating on-loading and off-loading material
• Identification of inventory shortages/excesses
• Reconciling inventory discrepancies

Required Qualifications:
• Navy specific ammunition experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and experience of MS Office Suite, with emphasis on complex functions.
• 7 years demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and experience performing shipboard ammunition logistics and inventory management using NAVSUP’s Ordnance Information System (OIS) for MSC, the U.S. Navy, or the U.S. Coast Guard, to include, but not limited to:
    o Technical inventory data management
    o Management of ammunition allowances
    o Accountability of conventional ammunition and associated components/hardware
    o Ammunition requisitioning using automated information technology systems
    o Activity Host Reporting
    o Ammunition Disposition
    o Material Identification and Fleet Ammunition Sentencing including: Notice of Ammunition Reclassification (NAR), Overhead Fire (OHF), and Ammunition Information Notices (AIN)
    o Ammunition tracking and expediting using Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP)
    o Coordinate support for ammunition on-loads and off-loads
    o Conduct analytical examinations of material in-transit and account out-of-balance
    o Conduct causative research for inventory gains and losses
    o Auditing, analyzing, and reviewing afloat (shipboard) inventory posture
    o Report generation and submission of: Financial Liability and Investigation Property Loss (DD Form 200), Ordnance Inventory Accountability Performance Checklist, NAVSUP Inventory Readiness Review (NIRR), and Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDR)
    o Participation in Shipboard Explosive Safety Inspection (SESI) and/or Explosive Safety Inspections (ESI)
    o Inventory reconciliation and trend analysis
• Must possess and maintain a US Government Secret level clearance
