About this Position

Professional Analysis, Inc. (PAI) is seeking a Distribution (Container) Manager Specialist for the Marine Force Storage Center (MFSC) Integrated Logistics and Distribution Support program.  The Distribution (Container) Manager Specialist supports such areas as the care of supplies in storage, inventory managements and control, serialization, general warehousing, storage, tactical vehicle maintenance, kitting, marking and labeling equipment (i.e. pRFID tagging, IUID tagging, etc.), and distribution of Marine Corps Principle End Items (PEIs).  The Distribution (Container) Manager Specialist will report to the Task Order Project Manager.  Position is contingent upon award of contract.

Specific Tasks Include:
• Conduct container management to include receipt, issue and inspection
• Perform container manual updates within Joint Container Management (JCM) System
• Be familiar with practicable application and usage of DA-2404 container inspection form, DD 1149 and DD 1348 transportation forms
• Logistics support to include but not limited to stenciling new container labels, decals, and or data plates
• Support the annual container inventory to be conducted during the 4th Quarter of the fiscal year with the results furnished to MFSC HQ
• Prepare recommendation updates to the USTRANSCOM - managed Joint Container Management (JCM)
• Support technical management encompassing inventory management
• Provide oversight of container inspection and recertification
• Maintain databases, using standard database programs such as MS Access, Excel, and Oracle, to provide distribution reports, analyses, and other relevant information to assist with distribution decisions
• Produce and place RFID Tags and Military Shipping Labels on any assets being processed for movement and released into the Defense Transportation System (DTS) in compliance with MARCORLOGCOM and local guidance, orders and policies; utilize the DoD ITV RFID system in compliance with MARCORLOGCOM and local regulations, orders and policies
• Analyze supply and transportation data to provide metrics on process and transportation time-lines
• Monitor all applicable cargo movements with ITV (AMS-TAC II) through all modes of transportation from origin to destination to determine the effectiveness of contracted transportation in meeting the Defense Transportation Time-line.

Requirements for This Position Include:
• Shall have 8 years’ experience managing Marine Corps/Navy logistics operations, specifically Distribution (Containers) Management operations
• Shall possess an Associate’s degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
• Must possess a good working knowledge of the following programs:
  o Global Combat Support System Marine Corps (GCSS MC)
  o Joint Container Management (JCM)
  o Automated Manifest System-TACTICAL II (AMS-TAC II)
  o Integrated Data Environment/ Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC)
  o Joint Operation Planning and Execution Systems (JOPES)
  o MAGTF Deployment Support System II (MDSS II)
  o Defense Transportation Regulations
  o MS Office Business Suite
  o Single Mobility System (SMS)
  o Integrated Booking System (IBS)
  o Joint Force Requirement Generator (JFRG II)
  o Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES)
• Preferred qualifications include:
  o Marine Corps logistics background
