About this Position

Professional Analysis, Inc. seeks a Requirements Analyst with knowledge of the Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS) to support the Program Management Division of the Expeditionary Programs Office (ExPO) located at the Washington Navy Yard.  

Overview of Responsibilities

A Requirements Analyst is required to evaluate, analyze, develop and track capability and requirement documents to include but not limited to the Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS) across all Program Management areas within ExPO. This effort will also involve coordinating the capability and requirement documents across all supported TYCOMs and commands, assisting them as necessary to ensure a viable product is produced.  The position requires frequent interaction with government customers that include Type Commanders (TYCOMs) and operational commands to help prepare capability requirements documentation to support the procurement of such capabilities.  Some travel is required up to 25% of the time.

Required qualifications:

  • Demonstrated technical experience supporting a DoD Program Office and the Defense Acquisition System
  • Demonstrated familiarity of DoD 5000 series guidance and CJCSI 3170 Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
  • 4 or more years’ experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint

Desired qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a management, business, engineering, or logistics field is preferred
  • Knowledge of Navy material identification requirements (ref NAVSUP P485) or DoD/DLA material identification in lieu of Navy specific knowledge
  • DAWIA Program Management, Life Cycle Logistics, or Engineering Level II certification or industry equivalent is preferred
