Logistics Analyst (EOP)

Position Description:
Professional Analysis, Inc. (PAI) is seeking a Logistics Analyst (Equipment Optimization Plan) to support the Equipment Receiving Distribution Team (ERDT) within the Logistics Services Management Center (LSMC) located at Camp Pendleton, California.  The Equipment Receiving and Distribution Team (ERDT) was formed to help minimize provisioning process chaos by providing on-site support and coordination of the Initial Issue and Provisioning (IIP) functions at the Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC), Marine Corps Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), and MARCORLOGCOM. 

The Logistics Analyst (EOP) will have the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and PWS, and that is typically in or related to the work of the site lead, co-located with supported customers, i.e. I MEF, II MEF, III MEF (Okinawa), III MEF (Hawaii), MARFORRES and LOGCOM.   

General Experience:  Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully these duties.  Experience should demonstrate:

• Ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions;
• Ability to plan and organize work; and
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of laws, policies, regulations and precedents applicable to logistics planning and program execution/sustainment.

Specialized Experience:
• Possess 3 years or more of experience receiving, account for, and issuing materiel at organizational activities, managing the day-to-day functional operations supporting the receiving, accounting for, and issuing materiel at organizational activities.
• Possess detailed experience in conducting inventory management, distribution assistance, stock positioning, and materiel sourcing.
• Possess detailed knowledge of current APSRs as it relates to managing supply and maintenance transactions.
• Possess detailed knowledge of current APSR infrastructure with the demonstrated ability to extract data from informational technologies, i.e. GCSS, TFMS, FedLog, etc.
• Possess detailed knowledge of Recoverable Item Report (WIR) procedures for materiel return to depot level repair or disposal.
• Possess detailed knowledge of Warehouse functionality and management. 
• Possess detailed working knowledge of organizational fiscal requirements and functions.
• Possess detailed experience providing technical advice and instruction to personnel in Supply Chain and Logistical management as it relates to disposal and disposition activities.

The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
