Position Description:

Professional Analysis, Inc. (PAI) is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support the Equipment Receiving Distribution Team (ERDT) within the Logistics Services Management Center (LSMC) located at Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM), Albany, Georgia or Okinawa, Japan.  The Equipment Receiving and Distribution Team (ERDT) was formed to help minimize provisioning process chaos by providing on-site support and coordination of the Initial Issue and Provisioning (IIP) functions at the Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC), Marine Corps Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), and MARCORLOGCOM.  The scope of the ERDT task is to provide a high level of data and system accuracy and equipment accountability associated with IIP/sustainment equipment receiving and distribution processes to ensure initial equipment accountability in the Marine Corps’ accountable property systems of record (APSR).   

 

General Experience:

  • Ability to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions.
  • Ability to plan and organize work.
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of laws, policies, regulations and precedents applicable to logistics planning and program execution/sustainment.

 

Specialized Experience:

  • Three or more years’ experience receiving, accounting for, and issuing materiel at organizational activities and managing the day-to-day functional operations supporting those activities.
  • Detailed experience in conducting inventory management, distribution assistance, stock positioning, and materiel sourcing.
  • In-depth knowledge of current APSRs as it relates to managing supply and maintenance transactions at an organization.
  • Deep knowledge of current APSR infrastructure with the demonstrated ability to extract data from informational technologies (e.g., GCSS, TFSMS, FedLog, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of Document Management File (DASF) functionality and management.
  • Knowledge of Recoverable Item Report (WIR) procedures for materiel return to depot level repair or disposal.
  • Detailed knowledge of warehouse functionality and management.  
  • Detailed working knowledge of organizational fiscal requirements and functions.
  • Detailed experience providing technical advice and instruction to personnel in supply chain and logistical management as it relates to an organization.
