About this Position

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or engineering field
  • Requires certification as Project Management Professional
  • Experienced in preparing content for executive briefs, studies and CONOPS in MS Office products to support the spectrum of logistics concepts.
  • 8 years of demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and relevant experience providing ship acquisition, fleet sustainment logistics support services, data management and supply chain management services to MSC, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Coast Guard, or maritime ship operating companies, to include, but not limited to:
  • Equipment provisioning and allowance modeling to support preventative (planned), corrective (unplanned), and alterative (e.g. TRANSALTs, MACHALTs, etc) maintenance.
  • Sourcing of material from commercial and federal sectors.
  • Development and maintenance of ship configuration baselines and equipment/systems top-down breakdown/hierarchical relationships.
  • Marine engineering system functionality, components, and associated Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements to support planned/unplanned maintenance.
  • Ship repair planning and specification development processes
  • Marine engineering system preventative and corrective maintenance
  • 4 years of experience in managing projects with at least 10 personnel in one of these disciplines: ship acquisition, fleet sustainment support, logistics systems/data management or supply chain management.

Duties (Representative)

  • Ability to establish programmatic goals, solicit/manage customer expectations, monitor/assess organizational performance, assess/mitigate risk, take decisive preventative and/or corrective action, and manage a functional portion of the contract within allocated resources.  Will act on behalf of the Program Manager in their absence.
