Professional Analysis Inc. (PAI) is seeking several qualified applicants for warehouse technician openings to support Military Sealift Command material management requirements in Norfolk.

This warehouse is part of a global network of storage facilities responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping critical repair parts to US Government operated ships around the world.

Our warehouse technicians initially handle basics order filling duties such as pulling and packing items to fill customer orders. This involves reading orders, conducting inventory verification, identifying the correct products from storage (shelves, bins, or racks), and preparing them for shipment. Order fillers may use hand-held scanners, carts, and basic material handling equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks. Accuracy in selecting the correct items and quantities is a key part of the job.

As skills and actual work develop to receiving, labeling, inventorying, and issuing, but also forklifts, computers and broader warehouse duties.

You will have the opportunity to work with specialized material like shipboard electronics gear, personal protective equipment and government furnished material. As you progress, you’ll earn valuable experience with government database systems of record that control worldwide inventory and distribution.

Work Location / Conditions:

· All work will be conducted at W-143 on Naval Station Norfolk.

· Work will primarily be in indoors.

· Applicants must be able to lift up to 40lbs.

Experience preferences:

· Warehouse logistics

· Familiarity with government and/or commercial online shipping systems

· Basic computer skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

· Current “Secret” security clearance required (or eligible to obtain one)

· All necessary training will be provided

· Ability to travel internationally (2-4 weeks per year) is a plus

Work Schedule:

· Monday to Friday (sometimes Saturday when traveling), Daytime only, 40-hours/week

· Paid holidays

Starting salary: $45,400 (which includes some company paid Health and Welfare Benefits on your behalf).
