Coast Guard selected PAI to develop Enterprise Architecture (EA) artifacts compliant with DoDAF 2.0 views and models. Using IBM’s Rational Architect software the PAI team will help Coast Guard employ its current EA artifacts for requirements, logistics, financial management and configuration control. PAI experts will also document the modeling specifications used to create configuration artifacts, and then will demonstrate how USCG business and functional processes are executed. A natural extension of the CM/RM work that we are providing to Coast Guard today, this EA effort is central to accurate cost, capability and risk assessments. We are excited to be part of this effort and we look forward to supporting efficient linkages between Coast Guard capabilities to the tasks that must be performed.

PAI was awarded a task order to support an Independent Logistics Assessment for the Coast Guard’s Sentinel class Fast Response Cutters (FRCs). The Fast Response Cutter is a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Level 1 Investment and a Coast Guard Major Systems Acquisition. The primary objective of the project is to quickly procure patrol boats to reduce or eliminate the USCG’s patrol capability gap. Our work will support Coast Guard’s aggressive acquisition strategy in advance of an acquisition decision event through plan and document reviews. PAI will help determine the logistics support readiness and operational requirements of the FRC through supportability analysis, maintenance and supply support determinations, and identification of initial deployment logistics prior to full rate production. We are pleased to be working with CG-44 on such an important program.
