Storage Specialist - Contingent

Professional Analysis, Inc. is currently soliciting applications for the position of Storage Specialist, located in the Cherry Point, North Carolina area to serve on our Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Contract contingent on award.

The Storage Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and management of storage solutions to ensure data integrity, availability, and performance. This role involves working with various storage platforms, managing data backups, and optimizing storage resources to support organizational needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain systemic storage bin locations in WMS by verifying that they accurately match the dimensions and characteristics of the physical storage location.
• Monitor storage performance and capacity utilization
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of data storage solutions
• Identify occupied locations in WMS that fall below 50% density
• Analyze storage usage and recommend optimizations to improve performance and cost-efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve storage-related technical issue

Required

• Experience shall include a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a large warehouse environment with complex operations. Experience will include a minimum of 2 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years.
• U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Storage+, Dell EMC, NetApp Certified Storage Associate) are a plus
