Systems Engineer Support (Sealift)
Professional Analysis, Inc. (PAI) is seeking a Navy Systems Engineer. This individual will provide Systems Engineering support to the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Expeditionary Programs Office (ExPO) on the Washington Navy Yard. This position will specifically support the Sealift Support program under the Sealift Program Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide Systems Engineering and Technical Support for Sealift programs
• Prepare and review engineering documentation and recommendations
• Analyze and report on engineering tests and feasibility studies and cost estimates
• Analyze and report on operational requirements for the Sealift systems
• Review and recommend approval or disapproval on Justification Cost Forms (JCF), System Alterations (SYSALT), Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), and participate in Configuration Control Boards
• Analyze and develop recommendations for maintenance documentation and Technical Feedback Reports (TFBR)
• Review and analyze adequacy and provide recommendations for review or change for COSAL Feedback Report Responses, any new design impacts, and form, fit, and function equivalency
• Witness and monitor tests
• Prepare and review Contract Drawings, System Specifications, and Requirements Traceability Matrices
Required Skills and Experience:
• 4 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, or,
• Professional Engineering Registration (PE License) in a NCEES recognized state
• Demonstrated skills and experience in providing technical expertise and implement technical processes across multiple functional specialties within a DoD major systems program office
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level
• U.S. Citizen
• Minimum security clearance
Desired Skills and Experience:
• DOD/military engineering experience with ship/craft systems
• Naval Architecture experience
• Knowledge of or experience with Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) documents
• Knowledge of Navy expeditionary forces and systems
• USN/USMC experience is desired; Navy Seabee (e. g. with the Naval Construction Force, Amphibious Construction Battalions, or Underwater Construction Teams) experience is particularly relevant.
25% travel required.
