About this Position

Professional Analysis Inc. (PAI) is seeking an experienced One-Person Site Manager to oversee operations at our Port Orange, TX warehouse. Supporting PAI's contract with Military Sealift Command (MSC) for the U.S. Navy, the warehouse primarily provides material support for Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF) ships. This role is ideal for former Logistics Specialists from the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Army, or Air Force, offering an opportunity to leverage military logistics experience in a civilian setting. The Site Manager will handle all aspects of logistics, from material receipts to shipment collection and inventory management, with the potential for team leadership as operations grow.

Port Orange, TX Location:

Port Orange, TX, offers a growing community with convenient access to key transportation routes, recreational areas, and various amenities. Key Responsibilities:
• Material Management: Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of materials in compliance with government and commercial standards, supporting MSC’s requirements for EPF ships.
• Inventory Control: Use DoD or commercial warehouse systems to track materials, ensuring accurate inventory and timely distribution.
• Staff Supervision: Manage warehouse staff as operations grow, ensuring safety protocols and efficiency.
• Specialized Handling: Ensure proper handling, packaging, and transportation of hazardous and controlled materials in compliance with federal and DoD guidelines.
• Tracking & Visibility: Utilize In-transit Visibility tools for shipment tracking.
• Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, government partners, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and material support.

Experience Requirements:
• 10 years of material/inventory management in maritime or fleet operations.
• 4 years using DoD or commercial warehouse systems.
• 6 years managing a material distribution facility.
• 4 years supervising warehouse staff.
• 4 years experience with PHS&T, including hazardous and controlled materials.
• 4 years managing specialized materials (CBRND, Force Protection Equipment, medical, IT, etc.).
• Forklift Certification (up to 36K preferred).
• Eligible for DoD Secret Clearance or currently holding one.

Key Qualifications:
• Security Clearance: Eligible for or currently hold a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40lbs and perform tasks related to logistics operations.
• Skills:
o Proficiency with DoD or commercial material management systems (CMLS experience is a plus).
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
o Ability to manage a site with minimal supervision.

Work Environment:
• Location: Port Orange, TX (occasional travel may be required).
• Conditions: Primarily indoor, physically demanding, focused on military logistics for EPF ships.

Work Schedule:
• Hours: Monday to Friday (some Saturdays), daytime hours, 40 hours/week. Paid holidays.

Additional Information:
This full-time position offers the chance to manage a material distribution facility and support the U.S. Navy’s Expeditionary Fast Transport ships. The role provides autonomy and the opportunity to contribute to critical military operations.
