Position Overview: PAI is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Program Executive Office for Aircraft Carriers (PEO Carriers), PMS 312 and PMS 368, by providing analytical support, assessments, reporting, forecasting, and recommendations supporting aircraft carrier lifecycle management activities.This position supports Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH), and Inactivation (INACT) programs through the analysis of maintenance, logistics, modernization, cost, schedule, readiness, and performance data used to support planning, execution, and lifecycle sustainment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve, organize, validate, and analyze maintenance, modernization, logistics, schedule, and readiness data from Government databases and information systems.

• Support lifecycle management analysis associated with aircraft carrier sustainment, modernization, logistics readiness, maintenance planning, and availability execution.

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, metrics, forecasts, trends, and analytical products supporting Government decision-making.

• Analyze maintenance, modernization, logistics, cost, labor, schedule, and performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended courses of action.

• Perform data quality assurance and quality control reviews of Government databases and information repositories.

• Develop presentations, reports, spreadsheets, charts, metrics, and executive-level analytical products.

• Support lifecycle planning, modernization planning, maintenance forecasting, logistics planning, and readiness assessments.

• Respond to Government data calls, information requests, and analytical tasking.

• Coordinate with Government personnel, shipyards, logistics organizations, technical stakeholders, and contractor team members.

• Support the development of recommendations that improve lifecycle sustainment, maintenance execution, logistics readiness, and program performance.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience performing data analysis, logistics analysis, maintenance analysis, engineering analysis, cost analysis, business analysis, or program analytics.

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data management tools.

• Experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting large data sets.

• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business, Logistics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related discipline.

• Experience supporting aircraft carriers, naval ships, shipyards, maintenance activities, modernization programs, or lifecycle sustainment efforts.

• Experience supporting logistics planning, maintenance planning, readiness assessments, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH), or lifecycle management activities.

• Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, Access, SQL, or related analytical tools.

• Experience supporting Navy, Department of Defense, or Federal organizations.

Work Environment

This position is located in the Hampton Roads, VA area and supports PEO Carriers lifecycle management activities for PMS 312 and PMS 368 as part of PAI’s Lifecycle Management Analytics Team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced analyst with strong analytical skills and the ability to transform complex maintenance, logistics, modernization, cost, schedule, readiness, and performance data into actionable recommendations supporting Navy lifecycle management decisions. The successful candidate will possess experience working in dynamic program environments and have the ability to communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
